The BBL Staphyloslide Latex Test is a latex slide agglutination test for the differentiation of staphylococci which possess clumping factor and/or Protein A, usually present with Staphylococcus aureus, from staphylococci that do not possess these properties. This kit performs quick, sensitive and accurate identification of Staphylococcus aureus colonies from culture. A bright blue latex reaction makes agglutination easy to see. The kit is ready to use, with prepared reagents and disposable test cards in a convenient workstation format.
