SERUM VIALS - Closely held tolerances in construction make these serum vials suitable for lyophilization. Manufactured from molded borosilicate glass with a crimp-top. Autoclavable. Available in either clear or amber borosilicate glass serum vials. Seals and septums for these serum vials are sold separately.This glass meets or exceed U.S.P. Specifications for Type I Glass Containers.

Kimble® Borosilicate Glass Vials - Clear 30mL vials constructed with KG-33 clear borosilicate glass. These sturdy vials are designed for biomedical applications and storage of water samples ( complies with EPA Methods 601, 602, 603, and 604 ). These vials are manufactured with a 0.005" PTFE faced 0.120" rubber septa for filling or dispensing with syringe. The cap and septa can be unscrewed to fill the vial, eliminating the need for crimping.

Flip Off® KIMBLE Serum Vial Caps- These aluminum seal & flip off plastic cap units come pre-assembled, ready to crimp on serum vials using the required specialty crimper below. The plastic flip-off cap is easily removed to expose the underlying aluminum seal and center exposed rubber stopper or septa. The brand shipped may be alternated according to current inventory.

WEST PHARMACEUTICAL Flip Off - Tear Off® Seals  ~ these 20mm seals have a plastic cap similar to the flip cap vial seals yet function in a manner similar to the tear off seals above. The plastic cap is easily snapped off using a finger followed by removal of the the aluminum seal underneath using the remaining aluminum pull tab. The rubber vial stopper underneath (sold separately) is then easily removed in order to pour out the contents of the vial. These seals require our crimper 20002.
